The Person who owns Twitter is jack dorsey and has owned since march 2006 and there were 4 founders Dorsey, Noah Glass, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams and it is very successful 

As they have 290.5 million users worldwide.

5. Who owns Instagram and is it successful? Give evidence

The company that owns instagram is Meta and Meta brought instagram in march 2012 and it is also successful as they have in the Uk alone 30.6 million users and instagram launched in 2010.


6. What are the worries about Instagram’s negative effects?

A worry is thatStudies have linked Instagram to depression, body image concerns, self-esteem issues, social anxiety, and other problems. By design, the app capitalizes on users' biological drive for social belonging—and nudges them to keep on scrolling.


7. What happened by law in 2022 that changed the way the internet is regulated? Who regulated it before? Name three consequences that this new law has. 

In 2022, a law was enforced by the UK government called the Online Safety bill 2022 and it made the internet safer for children than before .

A consequence of this is that some companies have to be more vigilant about the content that their users are posting online and if it is deemed too harmful they might get a fine or Jail time.

His response to online abuse that he endured during the Aftermath of the Euro 2020 final is that he said “I will never apologise for who i am and where i came from” and he also said that social media companies such as instagram and twitter do not do enough to prevent online abuse
