The Companies that were involved in the Creation of Black Widow were Marvel as the production company and Walt Disney as the Distributer.

 

2) What is conglomerate ownership? The definition is in the notes above. If you can, explain how Black Widow links to conglomerate ownership.

Black widow links to conglomerate ownership as the movie was made by Marvel and Marvel is owned by Disney which means Tv shows Such as Loki release only on Disney+.

 

3) Analyse the film trailer for Black Widow. What aspects of the trailer tell you this is a big-budget blockbuster movie?

An Aspect of the trailer that tells us that it is a blockbuster movie is Marvel has the budget to add CGI and add explosions and very well made costumes compared to Independent films such as I Daniel Blake which don't have a big Budget and got most of its revenue by the success of the movie.

4) How was Black Widow promoted to an audience? List at least three different methods used by the film's marketing campaign.

  • They put Teaser Trailers on TV, cinema and on bus stops

  •  The main characters appeared on tv shows such as Ellen 

  • They released trailers on YouTube 

 

5) What was the production budget for Black Widow and how much did it make at the box office?

The production Budget for Black widow was 200 million USD and they made 379.6 million USD in the box office.

 

 

6) Would you consider Black Widow a successful Hollywood blockbuster? Why? Yes as they made 379.6 million USD in the box office and made more money than other Marvel films such as iron man which made less money then Black widow and this movie creates an interesting plot for black widow before becoming an avenger.

 

 

7) Who regulates the film industry in the UK?

8) What age rating was Black Widow given? Why?

It was given a 12 which is mostly the film Rating for all MCU films.

  Language this film poster reminds me of the 1975 movie Jaws . also on the bottem it shows who the actors are and the release date of the movie. Also, on the poster it shows 2 sharks trying to eat the diver which also is like the Jaws movie poster where the person is swimming and the shark is trying to eat the person. Industries the movie is made by  Warner Brothers Representation There is only one person on the film poster which makes it difficult to analyse the representation. However, the main star is Jason Statham and the character on the poster appears to be male so this perhaps reinforces the stereotype that action heroes are male. The sharks are represented in a very stereotypical way as they are presented as dangerous, hungry beasts. This is emphasised by the size differences of the sharks and person.
