His Dark materials meets the BBCs statement to inform educate and entertain. the aspects of entertain as there are hero's and villains such as Mrs Couther and there are also aspects of terror and fear. There  is also inform as it tells us about the world famous oxford University and aspects of normal British Life.

3) What was American network HBO's role in making His Dark Materials and why is this important?

HBO's role was important because it made the show more global and can introduce new foreign audiences such as American and this made the show have a bigger budget and can introduce new technology and CGI.

4) Why are streaming services like Netflix or Amazon Prime bad news for the BBC? 

It is bad news for the BBC because now most young people consume their Tv on these Streaming services such as Netflix and Disney + and now most people even though they do not watch the BBc they Still have To pay something called a TV licence and shows on Netflix are not Heavy regulated but the BBC is. The company that does this is called OFCOM which stands for The Office Of communications.

5) How does His Dark Materials help the BBC to take on the big streaming rivals like Netflix and Amazon?

His Dark Materials helps The BBC as this is a show which could be a sow that rivals the shows of Amazon and Netflix and the show is also co-made by HBO a big production company which is Based in the US and this means that from this show the BBC could get a bigger budget for its other shows and make them better and it could persuade people to watch more of the BBC and its shows.

There is also a aspect of comedy which is when Lyra is making Eggs and makes them with the shell still inside the egg. and the show is thrilling as there also a threat of the spectres and Good VS Evil.

  Language this film poster reminds me of the 1975 movie Jaws . also on the bottem it shows who the actors are and the release date of the movie. Also, on the poster it shows 2 sharks trying to eat the diver which also is like the Jaws movie poster where the person is swimming and the shark is trying to eat the person. Industries the movie is made by  Warner Brothers Representation There is only one person on the film poster which makes it difficult to analyse the representation. However, the main star is Jason Statham and the character on the poster appears to be male so this perhaps reinforces the stereotype that action heroes are male. The sharks are represented in a very stereotypical way as they are presented as dangerous, hungry beasts. This is emphasised by the size differences of the sharks and person.
